Would a brand new tube in the box that’s been stored in doors for a couple of years deteriorate at all?
I changed a flat last week and put a brand new Panaracer R’ Air tube in and got a flat after about 10 miles. When I checked the tube the leak was coming from one of the seams, but I didn’t actually see a hole in the tube. I’m guessing it’s just my bad luck, but I thought I’d ask anyway.

Unless it had been in storage someplace else for several years, there is little chance that any tube failure was due to a 2 year old tube failing from old age.
