I just picked up some 404's that have Tufo s22's tubular on them. I'm going to be using these wheels as event/climbing wheels am 170lbs and race about ten CAT4's yearly.

Tufo lists them as a high mileage tire, but there don't seem to be any reviews online.

Anyone have experience/opinion on these tubies?

They have very high rolling resistance. Good for training only. If you are going to seriously race, get something like Conti Sprinters, which are fairly cheap & puncture resistant.

S22's are a great "everyday" or "training" tubular. They are round, and wear well. They even weigh less than Conti Sprinters, but cost less. OTOH, they don't really ride or grip well.
