After riding a hybrid for a couple of years, I just purchased an old road bike that's had multiple modifications over the years. I just noticed that the front and rear rims are different widths. They both have 700c x 23 tires on them. I was wondering if this situation will cause any problems.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Unless one of the rims is massively wide, there are no issues.
