I am running Ultegra 6800 on a 2017 Domane SLR 6 disk. It comes stock with an 11-28 cassette. Can I change this out for a 11-32 with no other changes? New to Ultegra and road components. Some SRAM 1x systems require a long cage D. Figured best to ask.

Depends on the rear derailleur.

If it's a GS then you're good to go.

If it's an SS then it's a maybe. Will depend on the frame/hanger setup. And if it's an SS the chain might be too short. Well might be too short either way, depends how it was installed.

I have a 6800 ss on one bike that can run an 11- 32 cassette.
I just posted what Shimano has listed as the specs on their website. I've seen several examples of people getting parts to work outside of the recommended limits, though it may void some warranties.

If it works big/big then the chain is too long.
And most likely, when you are in that largest cog, you will hear the dreaded "motor boating" noise. Not an optimal setup.
