Hoogeveen, Netherlands - UnitedHealthcare Pro Cycling Team's Boy Van Poppel followed up his fourth place performance yesterday at Ronde van Drenthe with a sixth place finish today. The fiercely competitive UnitedHealthcare Pro Cycling Team is making a name for itself in European racing, and Van Poppel's finish secured its 20th top 10 finish in international racing this season, including six podium finishes and one stage win.

"This was another hard race today and we were right there fighting for a podium spot at the end," said Team Director, Eric Greene. "Everyone did a tremendous job keeping us in contention, especially Boy, Karl Menzies and Hilton Clarke. They put the pressure on the field and broke it apart throughout the day."

"This Team knows what it is capable of," said Van Poppel of his finish today. "We put in a great effort today and we are excited about where this season is going. Racing in Europe has been important to us. We've had some success, we're learning a lot, the race organizers have been great, and we are excited about where our season is headed."
