I run 700 x 23 tires on my bike, and my wife's bike has 700 x 26 tires. I have a bunch of Michelin Air Comp A1 Ultralight tubes that are supposed to fit tires in the 18-23 range.

Would they be safe and reliable in a 26c tire?

If not, can anyone recommend good tubes with smooth (unthreaded) presta valve stems that would fit a 700 x 26 tire?

(FWIW, she usually runs her tires at ~80psi front and ~90-95 psi rear. She weighs 115 lbs.)

Been using "wrong" sizes for >10 years

We used to have 13 bikes in the garage, until the kids moved out. To simplify inventory, I bought only two sizes of tubes for years: 700x25 for road tires between 23 and 41mm, and 26x1,5 for all the MBs tires, 1.4 to 2.3. Never caused a problem.
