Hardmen. It's a term generally reserved for those professional cyclists seen grinding away in their large chainring while rambling across the rough cobbled roads of northern Europe. Throw in grey skies, hordes of beer soaked Belgians lining the way, windmills in the background, and of course, Flandrian Mud, and you have the definitive image of the "hardman."
Count Great Britain's Tao Geoghegan Hart among this category. After crashing into (and going through) the barriers on the last bend of the 2014 Tour of Britain's final stage, Hart still managed to get up and finish the race. Even Chuck Norris would be proud.
