Do you still ride after diamond tread wears out?

The diamond tread is doing nothing for your traction - the diamond pattern is just there as a historical reference. My experience with tires is to ride them until casing threads start to show, assuming they are not damaged in some way. Others will warn you that this increases the probability of flats, but that has not been my experience.

Not to mention with CX's, you'll only make it to the end of the driveway before the pattern is gone. Love 'em, but longevity is not one of their appeals.
