I have an old Vitus Futural cyclocross. It is probably about 15 years old. This was a bonded aluminum frame. It has many miles on it with no signs of problems. Does anybody know anything about this particular bike or have maybe even owned one. I am just wondering if it would be safe to continue riding this old soldier or is it time for retirement.

Those are cool bikes, but I've never seen one that didn't break. Had two friends with 'em in the 80s who loved 'em til they broke. Just keep a close eye on it--especially the downtube at the head tube and bb.

I was going to say the same. They were famous for falling apart.
