Finally, some smart racers sharing turns up to the line and then sprinting for the line, instead of playing cat and mouse and being gobbled up by the pack.

that was a great finish - Jens deserved the win more than Voeckler though - he (Jens) did most of the work in that break.. glad they dropped that Saunier guy near the end as he was just wheel sucking..

what Jens Voight

does most of the work only to get pipped? what a shock. please see last years L-B-L when Vino did the same thing to him. Jens you need to race smarter, you work way too hard to take 2nd.

It was more fair than say Hicapie last year in his stage win in the TdF.

It was smarter than Horner not working and ending up 10th in his stage loss at the TdF last year. (Although he says the other guy wasn't working either).

Isn't 2nd better than 10th?

Hincapie's victory at the Tour

was just as legitimate as Museeuw's 2002 P-R victory or Knavren's 2000 P-R victory.
(both of which GH was the victim)
or Pozzatto's at M-S-R
having a tactical advantage and using it is bike racing. Being in a break and having the opportunity to sit on and defend is just part of the game. everybody knows it, if ya wanna get rid of the guy with the advantage it's uptoyou to drop him.
watch the year Cippo made the bridge in G-W. Everybody knew he'd win in a sprint so they tried (in vain) to shed him.

Brilliant! Someone needs to pass this bit of info along to Hoste and team Disco, but maybe that won't be necessary since Bruyneel will be at P-R. Does this mean our hapless hero, George, will finally get someone with a clue calling the tactics? This may be Hincapie's best chance yet.

lets hope so, since I haven't seen such

tactical blundering (Disco at R-V-V) since T-Mob at the last 2 TdF's.

Disco had such an advantage at R-V-V.Bettini was looking shot, George and Hoste coulda done the old 1-2 with P-V_P trying to get his.

dumb de dumb dumb dumb
