Saw that 51st street here in Ahwatukee near Elliot was closed off completely. My girlfriend saw a sign saying there was a bike race. And lots of roadies in the area. Anyone know what this was? Charity ride?

Wow, kinda weird that I didn't hear anything about it...

All of a sudden, we saw that the road was blocked by the police. Kind of odd place to hold a bike race...but I think that's awesome!

Thanks for the info...perhaps someone has some more details?
