Curious if anybody has any experience using waxy maize starch as a post workout carbohydrate. It's fairly popular among strength athletes and seems it could possibly be beneficial for endurance athletes as well.

Nonsense!

apparently absorbed 10x quicker than malto
Pure nonsense. Maltodextrin has a glycemic index equal to glucose (= 100). In order for this stuff to be 10x faster, it would have to have a glycemic index of 1000. Not on this planet. More hype for a sugar substitute. BS advertising apparently works.

Sugar rush

Actually now that u mentioned it..I THINK they estimate a GI of 130..
Either way, if u don't bloat on malto, maybe no need to switch..
BTW, why would you think that a sugar rush would be a good thing for an endurance sport?

this is more for post workout, as original poster asked...

not sure if it would benefit a bike ride or not..i doubt it.
if you read that lik, they summize WMS helps shuttle creatinve and what not directly to the muscles... i think bypassing the intestines is a good thing....also, some BB are taking well over 100gm in one shake...with no reports of bloating..which is also a good think..

YMMV
