Anyone know the fighting weight of the groups? I'm curious what the weight advantage of Ultegra over 105, and DA over Ultegra from a group standpoint. Also does someone know the weight of the Campy groups???

Please don't make me waste an hour scouring the web for this! :)

Weights not so important!

The weight differences, although real, are not so great to really matter - a lighter wheelset will be more beneficial in terms of performance from weight reduction than which groupset you choose. DA groupset might weigh 250g total less than 105 - so what? The DA group will perform better - although even this difference may be unnoticable! If you can afford expensive groupsets - get them - if not, 105 will suffice. Remember - 105 is still a "racing quality" groupset.

That's great advice! I spent the money last year to upgrade my wheels and was wondering how much weight I could drop going from 105 to Ultegra. When I picked up my bike today, it still seems to feel "heavy" around the midsection (bb/crankset/cassette/derailers). Maybe it's the new carbon fork up front that makes the rear end feel unbalanced! :)
