So a couple days ago n then again today, I had this really quick, sudden, stabby pain in my "right lumbar region" (according to my A&P book). It's not where the appendix is, I already checked that. It's kinda right below the last rib. Or floating rib or whatever. The pain only lasted less then a second but it was pretty intense and surprising, when it happened today, I was leaning back in my chair at school and almost fell over. Is this normal? Am I about to explode? WTFsauce?!

I got the same thing the other day. The doctor said is was just my ligaments stretching to accommodate the baby.

HTH.
Well that's not a good sign... for me I mean.

i get this, too. its like tequila shots.
you wont have any, and then BAM! you get one. then you keep getting them for no real reason. after about six you start to worry about your health. then you dont get them anymore, and you are glad because they are painful.
just when you forget what that pain is like, BAM! they start creepin in again.

Just a nerve pinched by your rib. At least that's what my wife tells me.

You'll know it if it is a gallbladder attack but it is in the same region.
