What’s happening when your heart rate is relatively low for a perceived effort but your legs are super tired?

Long ride Sat, for me (70 flat with one climb and fast)

Sunday 60 with lots of UP - so the ups on Sunday were just awful but HR stayed within norm. Once back on the flats or moderate downgrade I could get spinning again.\

(sorry no power meter to help)

Thanks for the insight.

You are tired and so are your legs.

Sounds like you are just tired.
Maybe need an extra rest day.

OK I get the collective point - Basically tired.

I’ve extended my base mile/foundation period for the year - shooting for a long race late in the year. I was thinking that the extended base period was paying off with low HR and legs tired because they have limited anaerobic work to date. Hoping it all pays off later this year.

Thanks for the thoughts.
