Just saw the new 2009 Campy photos and the only thing I can come up with is that a Shimano engineer infiltrated the Campagnolo design team. One of the greatest benefits, at least IMHO, of Campy over Shimano was the flat hoods that don't look like the horn on a Western-style horse saddle. So what does Campy do? Imitate Shimano. What does Shimano (rightly so) do? Imitate Campy with their new 2009 hoods. Seems Campy is the new Shimano and vice versa. Whacked.

(btw, searched for a dup thread and couldn't find, so please excuse if is)
