As the title reads, I would like to get your opinions on what you feel the best aluminum clincher on the market currently is using these criteria:

1) Affordable - thinking under $1K at the very least
2) Weight - the less rolling resistance, the better
3) Performance/Reliability
4) Appearance - we must look cool

I am currently looking for a set of training wheels. I like the Mavic Ksyrium, but am curious about other options.

Let me know what you think about your favorite set of wheels that you have used or are currently using.

How about a set of Dura Ace 7850 CL or if you'd like to go tubeless Dura Ace 7850 SL. You have so many choices in this price range. You could go custom build with Alchemy or Ligero hubs and Kinlin rims (comes in many colors). Then if you want to further customize them goto your local sign shop and have them make you up some custom stickers with whatever graphic you want.
