Hi. I ride my bike very much like I jog, to burn calories and for a cardiovascular workout. I am not concerned about how fast I am going, as long as I am spinning. I have a course in my neighborhood full of good hills.

I plan on never to race; I don't need to ride with a group. I just want to "jog" with my bike. My bike is like a pair of running shoes to me.

I ride hard, get a good workout, stay in shape, bring my bike in and take a shower. What style of biking is this? Is it called a "training ride?" Or, "recreational riding?"
