I've started a 4am-6pm shift at work. So, waking up at 3-330am is the norm. Thinking about starting to ride into work which my fat arse definitely needs..

But anyways, what time are you up? Do you ride in? Has going to bed at 7-8:30pm affected your social life?

Since I don't have to be at work till 9 am (work at a bike shop), I get up between 8 & 8:30. If I'm commuting in to work, I'll get up around 7:30ish. I need to go to bed earlier, as I have trouble falling asleep before 11 pm. I used to work night shift (5pm till 4:30 am), and I still think that my body is still affected by that.

0430. Don't ride to work. Can't carry a tool kit. I go to sleep at 930 pm, like an old fart. I'd say I go to bed, but wherever I am, I'm done and sleeping at 930 pm.

I'm typically a morning person and I used to be up by 5-6 every weekday and 7 on weekends but I've been unemployed for almost a year so I checked "nooner" since I usually sleep in until 8:30 or 9:00 unless I was out late the night prior.

I'm starting my new job next Monday so I'll be back to the 6 am time frame very soon.

MWF mornings it's 4:40 and then on the road at 5:15 for an hour and a half ride. T & Th I get to sleep in till 6:00 unless work dictates that I go in early. Riding in the morning, before traffic, is awesome.

5:15am weekdays, 6:00am weekends

Grab coffee, 15 min mat pilates and fit bar work, check personal and work email. One hour ride at 6:15am. No showers at work so don't ride in. At my desk around 9:30am via public transport.

Bedtime, generally between 11:00-11:15pm.

Weekends, sleep until 6:00am and then on the road by 7:30am for 2-3 hours.

Rarely up past midnight.

6:00 is sleeping in....my wife gets up at 5 or 5:30 and wakes my dog up...I am a creature of habit so now that it is habit I will never be able to sleep past 5:30 even if my wife sleeps in (like on weekends.)

I COULD work any time of the day of night I wanted too...

5 in the am on weekdays, and anywhere between 5 and 8 on weekends. If I let myself sleep any later than 8ish, it messes up my sleep schedule.

When I ride to work, I get up about 20 mins earlier (work is only 8km away).

This semester: 5:30am and back at 4pm. Seems fair, except for the fact that I get back as a result of finishing at school at 11:45am or 1:15pm

Commuting to school is probably one of the dumbest things I've set myself up for, however I'd still hate to live on campus. Social life somewhat takes a dent, but I'm no party guy, seems like this school is full of people just trying to get by, and it's kinda cool that I can distance myself from any people I hate. Closer friends there are commuters as well, and there's some from high school with standout qualities to make me realize how lame people can be.

I start work at 7am so I'm up before 6am. I'm not one that enjoys waking up early so I don't enjoy it too much

Alarm is set for 6:15, I'm usually up at 5:30 when the wife wakes up. I really need to start using that extra time and get a quick ride in or something. I don't have to be at work(MWF) or school (tu/th) until 8.

4am to 6 pm? Seriously? 14-hr days? I'd have to think that you efficiency would drop some after 10 hours in, to say nothing of dragging on the ride home...

Edit: usually 6-6:30, unless I have to be somewhere far away early. Or fishing- tuna means leaving the house at ~ 0315 or so...

Up at 5:00 am. Feed cats, clean litter boxes, make coffee, ride bike on trainer watching MSNBC for 90 minutes doing intervals. Shower, dress and at work by 7:55 am.......

Still get up by 5:30 on weekends for rides.

Bed time is before 10:00 pm.

Rather boring life for me and my wife...
