In the process of building a new wheelset for my bike and trying to get rid of the old wheelset, but have no idea of what to ask for them. A buddy building a commuter bike and has offered $50. Take the $50 and move on???
Both are Sun Mistral rims (circa 1992), Wheelsmith spokes, brass nipples
Front (32H)- Shimano 600 hub
Rear (36H) - Bianchi Quattro hub - 130mm spacing, accepts freewheel

The reason for the mis-match is that I had the front wheel mounted to one of those Yakima wheel forks and I heard a thump and then saw it roll down the interstate and into the woods. I never found it.

The pics somehow made the rims/hubs look like they have some oxidizing, but thats not the case. A quick polish would probably take care of that (Brasso?). I have the skewers, but they're just not in the pics.

Thanks! Joe

Mismatched hubs. I would let them go for $50....

You could also buy a new (er?) 36H rear hub that accepts your cassette of choice and have them as spares ? otherwise 130mm screw on limits anyone to 8 spd and a potentially weaker axle (than cassette)

Take the $50 and buy him a few beers, good ones.
Amazing how sentimental memories will make you think somethings are worth more than they really are......a few good beers definitely put that back in perspective!
