Tomorrow is my last day of weekday freedom, new employment starts the 13th. My wife has assigned me a to list as long as my arm, including painting the house. I believe I should celebrate my new non-government income by going for a 3 hour ride, climbing a local canyon and drinking a few handcrafted (by me) beers, whilst buying a new Lounge Kit that will celebrate OIL.

What sayeth the Lounge?

The couch is acceptable. That is an excellent idea, I could have a nap there before the school bus arrives and deposits the monsters.

Instead of buying the new Lounge Kit, pay someone to paint the house, then you will be free to ride and you can drink beer while you supervise the painting. After the house gets painted, suggest to your wife that the new Lounge Kit would be a GREAT present for Christmas, but she has to order it by September 26th.

For a full night's sleep? As opposed to a mere nap? 'coz I think tomk96 was asking about the couch WRT the possible consequences of your foolish choices, should you elect to make such foolish choices.

Which, obviously, all of us here fully expect and encourage you to do ...

Your poll adds up to 130%. I suspect there is some tampering with the ballot box, a couple of hanging chads.

I'd be curled up in a full fetal position in some dark, dusty corner ruing the fact that come next Tuesday I wouldn't have the option of curling up in a full fetal position in some dark, dusty corner.

Either the new lounge kit is extremely expensive, the painters are extremely cheap, or the house is extremely small. I would have traded the cost of a Lounge Kit just to have somebody prep and paint my 2 car garage door. That was misery two weekends ago. After riding 2+ hours in the morning on Saturday and Sunday, I found myself working on the garage door for 5 hours each afternoon and I still need to give it a second coat this weekend. Then, there is the front of the house and the freaking bush that needs to be chopped down.

Luckily for me and our marriage, my wife has NEVER given me a "to do" list in the 5 years we have been married and the 6 years we have owned this place.

To the OP, good luck with your decision.

I'm glad to see 23 people picked the correct answer. I made it to the Wondervu Cafe. there was no smoke up there frm the Four Mile Canyon fire, but you could smell it in the wind.

As promised, when I got home, I got home, I popped the top on a cold home brew. Beer tastes best form Lounge glassware

BJII, was that I saw on the Nag near Wondervu? I know all your canyons are closed. I was the fat guy in the Hazed & Infused wrapper barely moving going up.

Hey, you could have brought some beer over to my house. I would have helped you drink it.
