I am going to build some new wheels in the not too distant future. I am going back and forth on which direction to go, and am looking for a little push in one direction. I'll be using either a Chorus 11 or a Centaur 10 group for a steel bike.
I have a set of Ambrosio Nemesis rims. I am a little hesitant about using tubulars, as I've always been on clinchers. Not opposed to the tubulars, but as this bike will be used for nothing but "enjoying the scenery" type rides I don't know if I want to go there. So, I am looking at the following options.

1. The Nemesis rims, either Record or White Industries 32 hole hubs, and DT Comp spokes with brass nipples.

2. Open Pro CD rims, with the same hub and spoke choice.

The Ambrosio wheels would build up pretty nice I think, and that would be my first choice, but I am scared of the tubulars. Both sets of rims are dark gray, I'll probably use silver spokes and nipples, and black hubs. Opinions? Thanks!
