I'm looking for a new set of road wheels. I'm currently riding an older set of CXP33s on Ultegra hubs. The wheels have been bombproof for me, but the rear hub is giving me some trouble. Will replace the hub and keep the wheels, but want to pick up something a little lighter too.

I've seen alot of wheels that look like pretty good buys for the weight, but am a bit concerned about a lower spoke count. The stiffness of the wheels is really important to me. I want the absolute most efficient power transfer that I can find and don't want anything flexing around beneath me.

Thinking about the Ksyrium Elites, but wonder about stiffness.

How about some recommendations for wheels that provide a balance of being reasonably light weight, but are still super stiff??

As far as the existing hubs, why not fix the rear hub, rather than replacing? Probably cheaper to buy any replacement parts necessary and service the hub, and easier to boot.

Without knowing your budget or weight, it's hard to suggest a particular wheel. Like many on this particular forum, I'd suggest talking to a custom builder. They will be able to tailor a wheel to your desires and budget.

A few to look at:
