These came as OEM on my hybrid, and they've performed so well that I'd like to replace them with another pair. No amount of searching has revealed this size available to me. Anybody aware of a place I can get them in 28?

Its not listed on Kenda USA's site. Could be an OEM only model, or discontinued. Other than eBay, check with dealers of whichever brand bike you bought and see if they have any take-offs around.
