Where to buy only the front wheel

621 Views 11 Replies 9 Participants Last post by  Easy_Ryder
Hi everyone.

I crashed a few weeks back and totalled my front wheel, a campagnolo zonda c17. I can't afford another wheel set and so would like to buy only the front wheel. Can anyone suggest where to start looking?

Thank you!

You probably don't need an exact replacement, any wheel will do and a lot of online dealers sell front wheels only.

Not sure there is anything that comes close to matching aesthetically. Do you have shops near you that you can ask?

the look isn't that important... just looking for a smooth ride and if possible, quick up hills.

I would check eBay. Not what you asked but you can buy a full Zonda wheel set from the UK for under $400

Lots of options here. EBay and other online stores. Local bike shops are another option.
eBay's the place. In enough time you'll find a single wheel.
FB Marketplace, or Kijiji, as well. There are a lot of people who use the back wheel for their trainer and sell off the front wheel.
OP, I don't know how you ride your bike or what you do with it but if you are a casual rider or perhaps a fitness rider you can get a complete set of matching front and rear wheels from Amazon for less than $200. The wheels have a Campy compatible freehub that will definitely accommodate a 10-speed cassette and should accommodate an 11, 12, or 13 speed cassette.

When I bought my Road Bike from a seller on Facebook Marketplace the wheels were mismatched. I really didn't care but I got a lot of grief from the Freds and posers who came on the Shop Rides so I looked around for a matched set at a reasonable price and that was what I found and so far I am happy. I bought the Vuelta 700 Team SL set but there are others. Take a look, you might like what you find. Good luck.
