I want to build up a not-too-expensive CX disc tubular wheelset for this fall, and am considering one of three rims from light-bicycle.com based on good success with their rims on my mountain bike. Not looking for a deep-section rim, so I'm staying with the 24-25mm deep rims:

After using nextie 29er disc carbon tubular rims last year. We broke about 10 of these. I will not be doing carbon for cross anymore. Hed belgium alloy is the way to go for alloy after destroying major Tom's once and having issues with cracking nipple seats.. hed belgium.. all yhe time i spent un gluing and re gluing tubulars last year due to cracks was not worth the weight savings.
Next time i go carbon will be when i get them for free as a pro in the next life.
