I have a Performance spindoctor stand, which looks to be very similar to the Minoura TruePro you linked to. The current Spindoctor stand looks different. Mine works fine, but it requires a bit of care because it is less rigid and stable than the Park models. That Minoura Workman Jr. looks flimsier to me. If you're planning on building wheels (rather than just occasional touch-ups and repairs), I'd suggest it may be worth the extra 20 bucks for the better one.
I read indicators are flexible plastic so it moves. Is this best for truing, not for wheelbuilding?
