Which Track Frames with Brakes

795 Views 7 Replies 6 Participants Last post by  stunzeed
So I am considering a SS, but really want to go with a track style frame like a cinelli. I want a front brake and the frame and fork does not have the option to run brakes so i am trying to find something similar that does. Any suggestions?

A sharp bit & steady hand will do it.

Hickey has drilled most anything riding around in the free world*. I took his advice and went to town on one of my forks. Worked like a charm.

*In a cycling kinda way, of course.
So you drilled it yourself?

The Felt TK2 has brake drill outs. It is a decent looking bike...black with tastefull acsents and priced well under a $1000. It looks like a very stiff ride though.

To the DFW folks....Mad Duck has one in their showroom that is built up very nicely.
The Bare Knuckle comes with a drilled fork.
seems i have also found that you can buy the felt urban frames which have posts for brakes, i just love the cinelli mash edition and not sure I want to drill..
