Its vary muddy because I was getting a subsuty from the state so its both. I canceled on the phone in the beginning of Dec. when I became eligible for insurance at work. And in the time period that we had to renew our plains with the state marketplace. I called both the state and Kaiser. Both keep telling me we understand and you don't need to do any thing more. Then another bill shows up for $700 and now there calling me. Its enough to make you scram, the girl on the phone keeps telling me over and over again i need to make my Jan. anchor payment and I keep explaining that I don't have to it was canceled Dec 15th. Then she decided that I missed a payment way back in the beginning that I had to pay. And when I pushed her on that she suddenly found the copy of the check I sent in for that payment. You have to understand when I started this Kaiser couldn't figure out how to take parents from me and the state. I would call in every month just to be told they can't take my money I had to wait for a bill. Then I would never get a bill. I actually at one point lodged a formal complaint that the payment system is a total joke. I even told the girl on the phone this time about that. And she tells me O yea I see that.

I haven't seen much evidence that that's actually true. Because I work for a big company and of course have had issues with other big companies I've been on both sides of trying to solve a problem being like entering Kafka's The Trial and the squeaky wheel gets the oil much more often patience and politeness gets rewarded.
LOL. We have Kaiser too. And when I get frustrated w them I use that line. I'm not THRIVING.
