The recommended bottom bracket length for the Centaur Compact is 111mm while it's only 102mm for the Chorus Compact. What's the reason for this? I like having a narrow Q-factor.

doesn't change the Q...

Just because the spindle is longer doesn't mean that the tread width (Q) is any wider. All campy double cranks, Centaur level and below have used a 111mm BB for a long time. Campy will be using a whole new BB system next year.

ah, next question then. Anybody know if the q-factor for the Centaur compact is the same as the Chorus std double?
