Thomson posts are one-piece. The clamp section is not pressed/pinned or bonded in place like most other brands.

To get the normal 20-35mm of offset, they'd have to make the post in two pieces or star with a really large piece of stock (but yes, it could be done).

The front bolt also poses a location problem. ITM/Selcof has a bolt that is inserted through the center of the post, while FSA manages to get their's behind the center of the post.
