I recently installed a new set of Cranks (Shimano FCR700 compact road cranks), a new cassette (shimano ultegra 9 12-25), and a new chain (sram 991 hollow pin) on my Cannondale road bike. I noticed a vibration during hard efforts in the big ring during the 2-5 o'clock positions on the crank.

As far as I can tell there is no play in the cranks or cassette.

Any help would be sincerely appreciated!

If its a fairly high frequency vibration, it's probably coming from the chain and cassette (or chainring). New stuff sometimes needs a few miles for the chain and cassette to wear in together. Also be sure to use a decent chain lube, which can make a big difference.

Thanks, I had a feeling it might be something like that, I should probably clean the stock lube off of the chain and puts pro-link on it.

Don't clean the factory lube out, most chain companies use pretty good stuff. Also the cleaning process often does more harm then good.

If pro-link is what you usually use, add that to what's already in the chain.
