Hi everyone.

I am about to spend $2500 on a 2004 Wilier Triestina Alpe D'Huez. It has aluminum frame with carbon fork and stays equipped with full Campagnolo Chorus components (the new version with the carbon levers and rear derailleur) and Campagnolo Proton wheels. This bike is brand new. Could you please take a moment to send me any thoughts or suggestions you may have on this deal? I am interested to hear if anyone has any suggestions for another bike in this price range, or whether this is as good as it gets.

Thank you in advance,

Niksa

Thanks a lot for replying! I am very impressed with the way Wilier handles, and of course the way it looks. As far as fitting goes - there will be no problem because the bike shop (ATA cycles) I would get it from will take care of everything.

By the way - that carbon Izoard is out of my price range and I would need a large frame but it looks good!
