which is found on flat-bottomed roadbike shoes. The Sidi Blaze is a mountain-bike shoe, which has tread, or cleats on the bottom. These shoes are designed to use a smaller cleat that mounts in a cutout in the middle of the tread, like Shimano SPDs or Speedplay Frogs.
Many roadbikers like to ride MTB shoes so they can walk in them. If that is what you are looking for, look at the SPDs or Frogs.
If you are road riding and want the SPD-SLs, you need a flat bottomed road shoe like the Sidi Zeta or Genius (which I ride). These soles almost all support the 3-hole pattern that Look pedals use, and most/many modeern pedal systems have copied the 3 bolt standard for their cleats. I ride Speedplay Zeros, and they have an adaptor to work with the 3-bolt design.
