Weren't they made, like 25 years ago?
Wolber has been gone by-by for years now.
You might find those rims on Ebay.

Super Champion -> Wolber -> MAVIC

has anyone heard of, used these rims before, if so are they any good? 32 hole clincher
They were middle of the road clinchers in their day. By today's standards, they would be considered heavy and weak. Aluminum alloys have come a long way. Some years after they bought out SuperChampion (a top French brand) the Wolber brand was picked up by MAVIC and then simply disappeared. There were only a couple of years (IIRC) where the SuperChampion brand was used by Wolber, so if you can find the acquisition dates, you can date that rim. I'm thinking 20+ years ago.

I have Gentleman GTX on my 87 Spec Sirrus and they have not come significantly
out of true or required any bearing service. Heavy rims though.

I'm riding a set now. These are my last set of hoops from that time; I forget the spokes other than they are DT built on DA hubs of the era. I like them thus far and have about 500 miles on mine. Dunno if they will be as bomb proof as the Mavic MA40's but so far, they are holding well. I'm 155#'s and easy on gear so I expect them to last a long time. :)
