Super Champion -> Wolber -> MAVIC

has anyone heard of, used these rims before, if so are they any good? 32 hole clincher

They were middle of the road clinchers in their day. By today's standards, they would be considered heavy and weak. Aluminum alloys have come a long way. Some years after they bought out SuperChampion (a top French brand) the Wolber brand was picked up by MAVIC and then simply disappeared. There were only a couple of years (IIRC) where the SuperChampion brand was used by Wolber, so if you can find the acquisition dates, you can date that rim. I'm thinking 20+ years ago.
