Super Champion -> Wolber -> MAVIC
They were middle of the road clinchers in their day. By today's standards, they would be considered heavy and weak. Aluminum alloys have come a long way. Some years after they bought out SuperChampion (a top French brand) the Wolber brand was picked up by MAVIC and then simply disappeared. There were only a couple of years (IIRC) where the SuperChampion brand was used by Wolber, so if you can find the acquisition dates, you can date that rim. I'm thinking 20+ years ago.tidi said:has anyone heard of, used these rims before, if so are they any good? 32 hole clincher
