Hey folks, Not looking for a solution here. Just wondering if anyone else has run into this situation. I'm used to destroying all manner of gear, and expect to. Here's an odd one though. After a muddy race last weekend I noticed my tires were worn down to the threads all around the rim braking surface. Clearly the brake pads rubbed. But ... the pads were pretty far from the surface. So ... looks like a bunch of sandy, gritty mud caked on the cantis and pads, and sanded down the tires over the course of the race. That's it, tell me its a bummer and commiserate while I shell out $100 on a couple new tires!
