No different than a heavier bike. Properly balanced wheels and tires and the correct fork for the frame is more important. My 12.5 Litespeed Vortex feels rock steady and carves corners and feels great at 50 MPH plus.
My R3 is the best descender of any bike I have had. I ride a lot of very steep, twisty and bumpy roads, which is much more challenging than the higher speed descents in the Sierras for example. The pavement there is much better and the turns not so tight. Because of the riding I do, I went with DA brakes instead of using lighter brakes that require more effort. But my R3's not a proper WW bike, just a kind of light one.
