Anyone have their forks slip out while on a yakima rack? I have a hollywood hitch rack with yakima scewers holding the forks. They have come out a few times this past week even when
the scewer was in the locked position. The lawyer tabs have been filled off but was never a problem before. The scewer is clamped VERY hard but still vibrates out. Any suggestions?

Is the cam opening, or is the fork working it's way out.

If the first, you need new skewers, if the second, it's possible that the bike is rocking left and right because of road vibration and slowly working the fork tips up through the QR. The best way to prevent that is with serrations on the skewers or the outside of the fork mount unit (inside the fork tips) or both.

BTW- The lawyer lips would have helped, and in the future I suggest that you file them only enough to clear the skewers leaving vestigial lumps that prevent wheels from pulling out.
