*dreaming*
Specialized S-works tarmac (not sl) or Willier Le Roi Frame
Dura-ace 10sp.
Zipp 303 (tubular) wheels with tune hubs...
Either of those frames will do for me..
Rest of the components need some time to think over, probably would take pretty light (carbon) stuff..
56cm Moots Compact SL
Moots Stem
CK headset
Easton EC90SLX fork
Ritchey WCS Carbon Bars
Zero Gravity brakes
Dura Ace Shifters
Dura Ace chain
FSA Compact Cranks
FSA Ceramic Bottom Bracket
Dura Ace Derailleurs
Moots seat post
SLR Saddle
Nokon Cable housings
either Lightweight or Zipp 303 tubulars
I have everything listed above except the brakes (mine are Dura Ace), Cable housings (Dura Ace), stem (Ritchey Alu WCS) and wheels (hand laced DT Swiss hubs and rims with the stickers peeled off of course) but I really wouldn't feel comfortable riding on a set of wheels (Lightweights) that are as expensive as my frame.
I'd also settle for a C-50 or Cyfac/Parlee/Crumpton but would that really be called settling?
While many of my dreams can get very specific, I just never saw the point in specifying every last component on my Dream Bike(s). Campy Record versus Chorus? Who cares? I can't afford the bike anyway, that's why it's a dream!
So with that in mind:
- Richard Sachs Signature
- Parlee Z2SL
- BMC SLC01 Pro Machine
- BMC TT01 Time Machine
- Moots Vamoots SL
- Velokraft NoCom
- Challenge Sieran SL
- Bianchi Pista Concept (w/ a freehub, front&rear brakes, and celeste everything)
- Cannondale Prophet 4000
- Rivendell A. Homer Hinson
- original 1970 Schwinn Stingray Krate
and, wtf, I'll keep my Cannondale Synapse Carbon 2, just upgrade the wheels & saddle
