The innovative 3T ZEFIRO bar has won a coveted Eurobike Award.

The Award is made by the iF International Forum Design, Hannover, for 'particularly innovative design and above-average product quality'.

ZEFIRO is a hybrid road/tri bar, with a blade-shaped, aerodynamic upper section, compact racing drops, and short bar extensions with a unitary aero handhold, known as the Pi Wing™. It first broke cover in the 2009 Giro d'Italia, when members of the Garmin team rode it for the hilly timetrial in the Cinque Terre.

In standard form, with Pi Wing fitted, it's legal for use in ITU short-course triathlon races. Where rules permit, it can also be raced with full extensions, like Carlos Sastre's Cervélo P4. ZEFIRO will be on show at the special display of Gold Award winners in the West Foyer at Eurobike and, of course, can be inspected close-up at 3T's stand (Hall A1 Stand 320). It will be presented at the official awards ceremony, to be held on 1 September at 6.00 pm at the Fashion Show Stage in the Foyer East.
