This is not exactly comparing apples to apples, but I've picked up a pair of Zerie shorts. It was their 'pro' model or whatever the top one was. I found the fit and support to be pretty good, the material wicks away moisture and keeps me dry. The padding is moderate, with decent coverage and nice flat stitching that is unobtrusive. The leg grippers do the trick, but they're not quite as comfortable as the silicone ones on my Sugoi shorts.

Overall, they're a decent pair of shorts, but you gotta remember you're not paying a whole lot for them...don't expect too much! I find that I don't wear them that often as I'm always reaching for my Sugoi's.
