Currently using the yellow SwissStop pads that came with the brakes. These are compatible with either carbon or aluminum rims and performance is OK on alum but I was wondering if I would get better performance with other pads as I will be using alum rims only on this bike. I understand that any 2000 or newer campy compatible pads will fit.

I have 2006 Zero-G brakes and, for reasons I cannot remember, switched them immediately to Kool Stop campy pads as you described - I think the pads that came with the brakes were cork pads and I thought that cork was better suited for carbon rims.

I have had great performance with the Koolstop rubber pads, though it seems they were kind of a pain to get them on the track for the pad - very tight to get the pad all the way onto the holder.
