Aside from the tri-state seacoast century, and the "flattest century in the east" in R.I., what other flat centuries are there in New England?
Gee, let me ponder that....perhaps it's the 100 miles ? No couldn't be.SleeveleSS said:Any reason for the flat century request?
Also its the second year of the FARM RIDE that starts at UMASS/Amherst. It's in August. THere are a few hills but especially the last part blowing by the corn fields is flat. Not cheap tho, but you get a weekend of activitiesJCavilia said:Here's a guide you might want to look at.

I did the Connecticut Valley Century (COVAC) a few years ago, and it's another one with pretty gentle rollers mostly, like the MS ride that PCM mentioned. It starts near Amherst, MA, goes up the west side of the river into Vermont, crosses into New Hampshire and comes back down the east side. Stays pretty much in the river valley, so no big climbs.
Personally, I prefer a little more terrain variety on a long ride, but diff'rent strokes, y'know.
"Flat" is a relative term, of course. Even the organizers admit that "the flattest century in the east" is not. And without riding around and around in very small circles, there's nowhere in New England where you can ride 100 miles and have it be as flat as some of the rides in coastal New Jersey or the Delmarva Peninsula.
