Any coupon codes for biketiresdirect.com?

Worst company to purchase through! They never have coupons, prices are exaggerated, and when there is a sale, well it would be the normal price at other sites! Just move on and search elsewhere. Don't buy into their tire replacement program either, it's a rip off!!!! Just my $.02!

I'd disagree, I've never tried the tire replacement, but I do buy when they have good prices and they do have good prices. Not to mention when they do have a good price and you buy the next time around you get more off from their points.
Case in point I just picked up a Edge 510 bundle for $320 and as I had some point it dropped to below $300 with free shipping.

Do you have anything specific or just your opinion?
I am not a BD fan either but thats just me. I keep it to myself.

I live close to their store. They have good prices when you sign up for the preferred customer program or whatever they call it. I'm sure that I could scour the internet and save some pennies buying from random places but to me it isn't worth the hassle. I've never had a customer service issue with them and they have always had what I needed at a reasonable price. If it is listed as available on the website then they have always had it in stock. I've purchased tires, fenders, bottle holders, and other accessories from them and never felt taken on pricing. Sign up for the customer rewards program and pretty much every purchase is discounted.

The coupon is based on how much you spend there. Sometimes the daily deal is good. I only ordered there twice.

I never will again. Prices are horrible, the VIP points try to keep you locked in, but I'm not a sucker. I'd rather shop Nashbar for goodness sake's.

Their deals seemed to be much better ages ago...before they relaunched their site. I thought they had a warehouse fire or something....or maybe I'm thinking of Nimble...but way back when their tire prices were decent and their service was good. I get their email updates but nothing has been so good as to make me want to purchase.

I guess I like them because they stock everything that is listed on their website so when I need something I can go in and pick it up. I've never ordered anything online from them. The people working there are very friendly and helpful in person. I've never made big purchases from them, but on smaller items like water bottle cages, fenders, etc. the prices have been fair (cheaper than my LBS) and the quality of the products are fine. They are something that I'll miss when I move away.

They do send codes by email, but most of the time the code is right on their front page. A rare exception is a customer only code for 15% off that I think is still going on for the next few days. Get on their email list.

I have found some very good deals on items that are rarely discounted. plus no tax and shipping is free over $100.

30% off just ended on Winter closeouts

They just ended a 30% off winter closeouts which was pretty good.
I snagged a Showers Pass Jacket for $99 and free ship that was normally $149 or so.
Also bought some lite weight knee warmers and a PI WinterJersey for Next Year. Not everything was Winter specific

biketiresdirect.com is awesome. I also work near them, so I just pick up my orders at the store.

If you want to be notified of their deals, sign up for their email. They don't spam you... I get one email every two or three weeks.

I just purchased a pair of LG bibs for 15% off, plus 10% of the purchase price gets rolled into their VIP program for future purchases... that's cool with me!

They're like any other site that stands behind their product. You just have to know your prices and shop around a bit before you purchase from them to make sure you're getting the best prices. I wouldn't buy my tires from them, but I've used their price match (on their twin site westernbikeworks) several times to get really good deals w/ free shipping.

I found them to be very good along with the western bike works.
They have shipped fast and same day.
I noticed many items are MSRP but they rotate their items to have 15% off certain things.
I saw a wheelset marked down 25% which was competitive with Ebay buy it now price.

I was a bit impressed when I phoned them to amend to an order and they set it up without any problems and I didn't have to ask for the discounts (both promotion and quantity), and they waived the shipping too.

I thought, what the heck are these VIP points, at first seems gimmicky. But I really have do have 10% store credit that seems to work on everything. No minimum spending.
However the points are not compatable with the western bike works site.

Overall it is great you just have to shop around to find a warm or hot deal from them.

Updating my experience to retract some of my praise..

Good pre-sale service but post-sale service is mediocre..
If there is a problem with the goods, you will be met with resistance to return them, they basically ignored me and brushed things off as normal, although I fixed things at my own expense.. It left me with a bad taste.

On the review page of this product, there is a customer who seemed to have a bad rear rim and they resisted heavily to do anything. I note the lack of good service was similar to my experience.

I'd rather shop at realcyclist and competitivecyclist who has stellar customer service.

Buyer beware! Buyer beware! Buyer beware!

BUYER BEWARE! BUYER BEWARE! BUYER BEWARE!
I bought a pair of shoes online from these guys in Dec. They sent me completely the wrong item. When I called them about it, they tried to sell me what they sent me at a discount, which I declined. I stood in holiday post office lines to send their mistake back to them on Dec 20th. Today is Jan 10th and still no refund despite emailing them the post office receipt and following up via phone and email. NO RESPONSE and NO REFUND. I finally called the credit card company to report them. The credit card company refunded my money thankfully. These guys are a total scam. You couldn't make this many "honest" mistakes: sending me the wrong item - trying to sell it to me at a discount - not returning emails or phone calls - not refunding the money.

i buy stuff all the time online, but have never had anything like this happen. I thought it was an honest mistake at first, then bad service but now fully believe that these guys are crooks. They now have the item and my money and have gone completely silent.

Fair warning!!!

Wow. I've been buying stuff from them since 2003. And when I go to Portland I manage to go by to pick up small items that don't justify shipping. I've never had a single problem.
If the credit card co paid you back, will they not charge it back to BTD? Just asking.
Not sure why you had such a bad experience but it is totally different than all of mine with them.

I, too, am a customer of BikeTiresDirect. Purchases a Showers Pass jacket and numerous other items. Due to my interaction with Phillip, I'll be a life long customer.

My story is as follows - ordered a Portland Design tail light. The light would intermittantly shut itself off while riding. Unacceptable. I talked to Phillip who immediately sent out a replacement light. Somehow, I suspect it was a carrier problem due to heavy traffic during the Holiday's, the light never arrived. Phillip sent ANOTHER light, which I received, including a return label for the defective item. Through all of this, the communication was top notch and showed me just how much they focus on a solid customer experience.

Thanks again, Phillip!

I am surprised to hear of the negative feedback on BikeTireDirect. They have always provided me with good service. I purchase a pair of winter shoes from the store last week. I had forgotten to use a 10% off coupon. I contacted them the following day and they were more than hapy to provide a 10% refund. Their VIP Rewards program which offers a discount towards future purchase.... and their discounted pricing on certain items has been excellent for me.
