SRAM red vs force cranksets

comparing for BB30 version, if it matters.

The spider and arms seems identical.. weight similar.

Does the Red crankset just have better chainrings, is that the only difference?

2013 Red is better, at least that's what SRAM says.

Talking about the current 2011/2012 models that you can buy.

If I replace the force chain ring with high quality rings is that possibly better than red?

The next Red has hallow carbon arms.. I probably kick up too many rocks to feel safe and reliable with them.

I don't know why people have the notion that the force rings are inferior. I run them without any problems & they shift perfectly fine to me.

That's pretty much the entire Force vs Red discussion. Force seems to be the sweet spot for weight vs $$ (IMO)

I built up a Ti bike last year with a Force drivetrain. Works great. This year I got a new bike already built with Red. Also very nice working. When I'm riding, I can't tell the difference.
