I was amazed by the price 11Speed had on new Campy Chorus UT Carbon Cranks. At $301 US I was sold. Add the Record BB cups for $20, and for $321 I had a new 2007 sweet crankset. Then I went to check out, and they were charging me over $70 US for shipping! I checked their site, but couldn't find out why, and don't believe they have to withhold customs duties (as I think Cranksets are not subject to US duties).
I buy Campy stuff from totalcycling a lot, and while shipping is higher given it is from the UK (about $20 typically) I was floored by this. (Totalcycling prices on the same crankset were about $50 higher).
I ended up buying from Texas Cyclesport who had the same crankset for $325. All in about $350 shipped with the BB cups, so I still consider this a hot deal. Just blown away at the outrageous shipping by 11Speed.
