I read through all the past posts on this but couldn't find an answer. I have:
A giant TCR carbon with all carbon fork with a Giant top cap assembly (i think its the same as FSA)
Anyway, I removed the top cap and the screw that holds top cap to expander plug assembly.
I also removed the top half of the expander plug assembly - the part that threads in with a large hex key and whose top fits over the lip of the carbon fork. My question is this. With this part of the expander removed - how do I get the rest of the plug out of the fork? Or move its location in the fork? Should it just pop out at this point?
The reason is that the top half of the expander assembly that fits over the top of the cut fork is no longer flush with the top of the fork. There is space - which there shouldn't be I don't think?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
