While you are off the bike, drop the chain off the front rings and spin the cranks. Sight downward, standing directly above the rings. Do the ring move laterally side to side, like an out-of-true wheel? Some slight movement is not uncommon, and to be expected. If they spin straight then you may be seeing flex in the frame. Re-aligning (re-bending) can be done, but it can be tricky.
 
Have you removed the crankset recently? Just last week after one too many drinks I was putting the cranks back on my bike and noticed a bad wobble. Upon further inspection the opposing crank arms were not lined up correctly, instead of 180 degrees difference between them it was more like 135 degrees. That would have made for an interesting ride if I wouldn't have noticed the wobbling!
