technically ,it's pronounced MeeYahTah, as in strung together as a single word with equal or no syllable emphasis... that said,you'll sound like a snob unless you're speaking in japanese to japanese, so for an english speaking person Mee- Ahtah ,as per the Matsuda sportscar is just fine(ie-Mazda Miata)

Thanks for the correction. I raced MeeYahTahs in the early '80s and currently own 5 TEAMS and my original PRO and back then in Texas it was pronounced My YahTah. :thumbsup:
